Earlier this week we had the chance to talk with Jacob Wood.
So far we’ve been pretty conservative about doing designer/publisher
interviews. The other one we did came mostly from Brian’s absolute love of Amber
Diceless (take a drink). In any case
Jacob Wood currently has a Kickstarter going for his game, Monster Kart Mayhem. But at least as importantly, he’s an advocate
for accessible games (hence the name of his company and website). We talk with
Jacob about what he sees as best practices for publishers, what games need to
be more accessible for gamers with impairments, and what conventions can do to
better serve this community. That’s all important stuff, plus his game sounds
really fun- and I’m curious about the combination of rpg and board game
elements in it. Check it out.
